This set also features some of my favorite hairstyles for the season. There's a ton of youtube videos about the fishtail braid. It's a bit tricky, so I'm practicing! Here's the video I'm using:
The season will be friendly to people who love pink. Cardigans will work for those days you visit the beach, or when you get out of bed so early, there is a bite in the air...which in Sacramento...seems like the chilly bite before 10am is here to stay for another month...
just rustle up a skinny belt if you want to show the cute blouse beneath, and fasten about the waist. Like the messy curls and hair, it's a good comfortable easy look.
But that isn't fit for office wear. Personally, AC chills me. I tend to wear sweaters through the summer when I'm indoors. Looking forward to fall, and the trends I'm watching...I'm still looking after vintage inspired outfits:

If heels aren't your thing, look for ballet slippers, wedges and kitten heels. personally, I like '40's, 50's and 60's dress over '70's and '80's. The conservative yet feminine dress of the 50's silhouette is perfectly suited to office wear for a classy take on business dress. The fact that skirts will be creeping down the next year (and I predict the longer skirts will hang around for a few years, this time--bouncing from knee to ankle and back)means looking forward to finding more inspiration from the previous century.
